Denver, Colorado - from almost every area of the city you can view the awe-inspiring Rocky Mountains lining the western horizon. Located nearby is the Six Flags Elitch’s amusement and water park and Water World, one of the top ten best water parks in the nation. Also for families is Casa Bonita, a restaurant famous for its waterfall cliff divers and entertainment. Since Colorado is one of those Wild West states, Denver hosts the National Western Stock Show for those interested in rodeos and western culture.
Although the mountains have a surplus of snow in the winter, Denver has mild weather while still enjoying a few inches of snowfall. And visibility is spectacular due to the semi-arid climate, so there is always a chance of viewing the amazing Rocky Mountains.
